Negotiation

We aim to make mutually beneficial agreements that work in everyone’s interest – including our clients, their stakeholders and our suppliers.

Negotiation is a good alternative to competitive tendering as it is less wasteful of resources and brings the benefits of collaborative working. It has the advantage of involving the contractor early on to advise on designs, materials and suppliers. It’s attractive for our client because it introduces predictability to costs, quality and programme timings.

We can take an open book accounting approach where costs are monitored and controlled during the construction phase, but which leaves some flexibility to adjust the specifications and programme during the construction phase of the project.

Parrott likes to work as a trusted contractor. For negotiated agreements we can structure a contract to suit all parties. We will use our experience to ensure a way of collaborative working with clear understanding and positive outcomes. Our aim is to deliver projects on time, at a fair price and with lower design costs.
