Parrott Construction hand over 23 stylish town centre apartments – Pilgrim’s House, Bedford

Parrott Construction are delighted to have recently handed over Pilgrim’s House in Bedford, a conversion and renovation from a previous office block into 23 stylish apartments, consisting of a selection of 1 and 2 bedroom, available for shared ownership from our client bpha. The affordable living apartments, located right in the centre of Bedford, have been finished to a high specification and are ideal for first time local buyers.

 

Fletcher Way, Hemel Hempstead

We were delighted to attend the official handover of our Design and Build Project at Fletcher Way, Hemel Hempstead, to our client Hightown Housing Association.  The scheme provides supported living to eight adults with physical and learning difficulties.  Work on the scheme, which comprises two buildings, each containing four specially designed flats , was completed at the beginning of August 2016.

Fletcher Way provides eight self-contained flats which have been designed and built to the highest specifications for residents with a range of physical and learning needs, along with office space.  There is also a platform lift that leads from the two lower ground flats to the car park.

Each one-bedroom flat is fully wheelchair accessible and has its own fitted kitchen with adjustable height work surfaces and sink, an en-suite bathroom with wet room and an open plan living room.  Tracking for hoists is also provided in each bedroom.

With 24 hour support available and waking night support in hand, residents are able to live independently, but have help close by if needed.
