Anthony Parr wins NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award

Top Parrott Construction Site Manager Anthony Parr has been awarded a prestigious building management award.

Anthony, who is project managing the building of a complex of supported-living flats in Watford, was chosen from over 15,000 site managers nationwide and won an NHBC Pride in the Job quality award.

After a year-long rigorous judging process, Anthony was shortlisted and will now go forward to compete in the next round of the National House-Building Council’s competition.

Pride In The Job is the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising construction Site Managers who achieve the highest standards in house building.  It has been fundamental in driving up the quality of new homes over the past 35 years and represents success for the Site Manager, his team and all the associated trades on the project.

Anthony’s project is the construction of seven Supported Living Flats at the site in Little Bushey Lane, Hertfordshire on behalf of Lea Valley Developments Ltd.

Chris Layram, Parrott’s MD said: “We are all delighted for Anthony and his team, they constructed a very high quality building on programme and within budget”.

The construction of the seven Supported Living Units was just Phase 1 of a contract that now involves moving residents out of their existing old outdated nearby accommodation into the new flats, then demolishing the old buildings and constructing 11 new houses on the existing site, with final completion due around the middle of 2016.
