Tree Planting Ceremony at Balliol Road, Kempston

On Wednesday 25^th October, Parrott Construction, along with our client bpha and guests from Bedford Borough Council, Homes England, Local Councillors, our new residents, and the Mayor of Bedford Mr Dave Hodgson, celebrated the partnership and construction of 13 New Build Houses and Flats at Balliol Road, Kempston.  The 13 properties have been built to maximise energy efficiency, meeting the needs of the residents now and into the future.

The Design and Build project produced four shared ownership family homes and nine one and two bedroomed flats for affordable rental, bringing much needed high quality, low cost homes to the area. It also includes a large public open space which has been planted with trees and shrubs and a grassed area.

Following brief speeches by Jeff Astle from bpha and the Mayor Dave Hodgson, a commemorative tree was planted in the communal garden.
