LABC Building Excellence Awards 2016 – Grand Finalist

Parrott Construction are very proud to have been invited to attend the Grand Finals of the Building Excellence Awards 2016, held on Monday 28th November 2016 at Westminster Park Plaza, London.

Following our success at regional level earlier in the year, our Project at St Paul’s Square, Bedford was a worthy contender under the category of ‘Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development’.

St. Paul’s Square Bedford saw the transformation of a cluster of once derelict buildings into 10 comfortable, modern and affordable flats, for our client Aldwyck Housing Group, funded  by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA)Bedford Borough Council, and the Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) for the local people of Bedford.

The Event was attended by approximately 800 people, including contractors, architects, designers and local authority building control surveyors who gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements in the construction industry; rewarding excellent buildings, outstanding companies, and partnerships and individuals that go that extra mile in terms of working relationships, outstanding craftsmanship, technical innovation, sustainability and high performance.

Chris Layram, MD of Parrott Construction said “To reach the national finals is a great achievement which further demonstrates our continued commitment to producing high quality housing and working in partnership with our key Clients and Local Authorities”. Congratulations to all the winners and highly commended individuals, companies and local authorities.
