Local Authority Building Control Awards (LABC)

Parrott Construction were invited to attend the LABC Central Building Excellence Awards held at The Jury’s Inn, Milton Keynes on 16^th May 2014.

The Building Excellence Awards are all about the essence of good buildings. Finalists are not judged on architectural beauty, but on the “Excellence” shown from a construction and technical building control point of view. The awards recognise not just buildings but celebrate their design and construction teams that have tussled with technical issues, difficult sites and found innovative and creative solutions.

We are delighted to have been ‘Highly Commended’ in the category of Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development in respect of our project at Vickers Close, Biggleswade, which consisted of the design and build of 17 houses and 2 flats for our client Grand Union Housing Group.
