Completed with Days to Spare

St John’s Special School, Kempston

During the summer holiday for the school, we were invited to undertake fit out and alteration works to provide the school with additional teaching facilities for the special need students which attend. The first of these entailed dividing a classroom and providing facilities for a Media Suite to be fitted. This will include a ‘blue screen’ for the children to be able to film themselves and develop the film with added backgrounds into a finished movie.

At the same time we created an extension to the main entrance providing additional usable space within the Front Lobby area and added an entrance to enlarge the Autism Unit at the far end of the school. The works were undertaken at extremely short notice, and with the need for us to complete the works before the children returned.

Site Manager, Steve Juffs, carried out the above work under extreme pressure of time, for the second year running and to the ultimate satisfaction of our client the works were completed with days to spare.
