Berkhamsted Sites Progressing

Following up on our October 2007 issue, which featured the laying of the token brick by the Mayor of Dacorum Borough Council, the scheme is now at plastering stage!

The construction of the 26 flats reflects the varied history contained within surrounding buildings-virtually every roof pitch in sight incorporated into each of three blocks!

One of these is timber frame, being built to Aldwyck Housing Association standards and the remaining two blocks in traditional construction to Dacorum Borough Council’s specific requirements.

The Site Manager, Sam Taheri, is working on the latter, joined by Steve Juffs who has taken on part of Sam’s role whilst constructing the Berkhamsted scheme of four flats on the canal side.

This smaller scheme is also funded by Dacorum Borough Council and will no doubt attract many requests for Tenancy.

We are looking forward to completion in early summer on both of these schemes.
