Summer projects round-up

The end of the summer has seen a big spike in project work for Parrott Construction.

Teams have recently commenced works on five new local projects…

1 – 20 dwellings for rental by local people at Fen Drayton Road, Swavesey for a new client South Cambridgeshire District Council, following re-location of the local newts! We are now up and running on this prestigious council contract.

2 – Building work on a tricky site in Hemel Hempstead has just commenced. The project, to build two blocks of supported living accommodation comprising eight wheelchair adapted units and one ancillary unit is on a very sloping site owned by clients Hightown Housing Association Ltd.

3 – Following months of extensive archaeological work at Walkdens in Ashwell, the project to build 15 new homes for rental by local people is finally underway. Parrott Constructions’ team have moved on to the build phase for the clients, Origin Housing.

4 – At the historic Sir Herbert Janes Village in Luton, we are carrying out refurbishments to 46 bungalows for regular client Aldwyck Housing Group.

5 – Also for the Aldwyck Housing Group’s subsidiary ‘Lea Valley Developments Ltd’ we are constructing 11no houses for sale at Bushey.

We will be updating the news pages on these contracts as works progress.
